Endless Chess
Oh no! You made yourself tiny with a spell after experimenting with angry chess pieces, this can't end well. Good thing you brought your special die.
Survive for as long as possible and upgrade your die to defeat the chess pieces.
Made for the GMTK Game Jam 2022, the theme was Roll Of The Dice.
Controls:
- Arrow keys or WASD to move
- Left click to throw the die (The number on the die is how much damage it does)
Upgrades:
- Boomerang: Makes the die come back to you
- Distance: Makes the die go farther
- Hearts: Gives you a heart if you lost one
And YES I am aware of all the bugs:
- You can throw your die out of the arena
- You keep your points even in the next round
- The knight piece can't kill you

Are they bugs or happy accidents? Creative take on the theme and I appreciate that you took the time to lay out the rules! It would be nice to be able to see the pieces health (besides your own) or know when they're being hit (i.e. if the dice hits them directly once it finishes rolling vs it rolls past them), but overall nice job!
